Meet the Virtue Signal - More Of What You Already Like

Some boosts are built to slam the front of an amp, force extra breakup, or turn everything into a louder version of itself. That is not what Virtue Signal is about.

Virtue Signal is a tone enhancer first. Its job is to make your signal feel stronger, clearer, and more alive without changing the core voice of your guitar, amp, or pedalboard. It adds presence, dimension, and a little extra authority, but does it in a way that stays clean, open, and natural.

At its core, Virtue Signal is built around a classic op amp clean boost circuit, tuned for a fixed amount of gain that gives your sound a consistent lift without unnecessary complication. It is designed to add just the right amount of extra signal to wake things up, bring out more detail, and give your tone a little more size and immediacy, without pushing too far into obvious coloration.

The circuit pairs a Burr-Brown FET op amp with an internal +18V charge pump, giving Virtue Signal increased headroom and helping it stay articulate even with hotter pickups or when placed in front of other pedals. The result is a boost that feels less cramped, less brittle, and more effortless under the fingers.

Virtue Signal works especially well as an always-on foundation pedal. It can add polish to a clean sound, tighten and energize the front end of a gain pedal, or simply make everything downstream feel more responsive and present. It is not flashy. It is not complicated. It just makes a good signal sound better.
